Meet the owner and creator of our wonderful program, Jan Oviatt. A mother of 9, she has always kept busy feeding them her delicious fresh baked goods. She has been baking bread for over 40 years! Her home is always full of people she loves; friends and family alike, especially when her fresh bread is baking!
Kaycee Monteleone, Jan’s eldest daughter, is a mother of three children; two of them busy teenagers! She has been operating The Breadlady in Central Alberta since 2013 and loves visiting different classrooms to teach and bake with the children. She grew up learning how to bake bread from her mother and has fond memories of coming home to fresh bread after school!
